If it wasn't for Living Social, I would never have ventured to this enclave of the beach. I'm all for Nostalgia and karaoke sing along. However, somewhere along the cruise ship dreams, high school musical nostalgia, and the wish I was back in Hoboken fantasy-land -- this american idol-esque'production' came to life. Special kudos to light man. I wish I could call him boy but he's older than my grandpa. Dean Martin stole the show - 5 stars. Sammy gets 3.5 stars. Marylin thanks for the birthday wishes, the wig and the costume changes - 3 stars. Frank - thanks for giving birth to rap. It's called singing not talking - 1 star. Beer and wine only and no real booze - zero stars!

Great Location overlooking the Ocean inside the Castle Beach club hotel, Great food, great weekly Miami Rat Pack shows.

The show was great except Frank Sinatra, to the point that everyone around us commented it on how bad he was. The service was horrible, two appetizers took 45 minutes after we placed the order. After the show it took extra 25 minutes just to charge the credit card. Sinatra, the director and producer, couldn't keep the best and his pitch was off. We love the concept of this show but I don't think it can't be successful with the current low level of service. They mentioned they may change venues soon but we're not prepared to go back ever.

I bought the deal on Groupon because I am such a huge fan of this era and the deal was fantastic. We got our meals and the show included. We paid for a bottle of wine. However, there are quite a few issues that this show needs to work on before advertising ANY further: Pros: The dinner was absolutely fantastic. The chocolate cake dessert was served chilled. I would have wanted it warm, but it's not a big deal, and was tasty nonetheless. The service was excellent. Those girls kicked ass. But they should just wear all black. The bunny ears are trashy. The songs were enjoyable for the most part because they were recognizable, and that band was impeccable!!! They were absolutely fantastic and if you closed your eyes, you literally felt like you were in that time period. Cons: The jokes. I get that they were trying to stay within the era and tease Marilyn, but more than two jokes about women's intelligence was too much, and the audience seemed really uncomfortable. The first three performers were great as long as they continued to sing and didn't talk all that much. And then Frank came on. It wasn't his accent that bothered me, or his appearance, but he completely butchered one of music's legends, and ruined it. He was off key, and when the others got on stage to sing with him, they were completely disconnected. It was a real shame. I think he might be the director of the whole thing too from what I overheard. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I'm glad I was able to go. They have some fine tuning to do, but for the price, might as well get a great dinner out of it.

Horrible food, never coming back, really fatty and bad rib eye, cheap quality that even dogs can not eat it, they should close this restaurant.

We enjoyed the Miami Rack Pack Tribute Show and Dinner on a Friday night. Some serious issues with this show, food and service, but we had a Living Social voucher and it was an EXCELLENT deal for the $$$. Showing to the venue, we were promptly seated and had friendly service. The menu looks DELISH but unfortunately there are no vegetarian entrees (they give you the pasta dish without the chicken in it to make a vegetarian meal), and ALL of their meat entrees have onions somewhere throughout their dishes (not good for someone allergic to onions!). We split a cesar salad which is done in the typical Miami style of some lighter clear dressing (instead of the white creamy dressing served in New England where I am from). Lettuce was crisp and fresh and the salad was quite large - great for sharing. We both had the farfalle pasta dish and mine was excellent except for the fact that the pasta was not cooked enough. I think they are trying to go for al dente but what they really achieved was raw hard :( The mushrooms and chicken in mine were very flavorable/just excellent - and they made me a special sauce without onions which was very nice as well- just not enough of it to help moisten my pasta. We also split a chocolate cake that was flat out awesome - and very large - great for sharing again! Drinks were extremely reasonably priced for Miami Beach (or anywhere)! I would highly recommend this place. We got our food quickly (also unusual on the beach), and the beef with potatoes entree looked absolutely awesome!! The show itself started with Dean Martin and he was the best of the four characters of their Rat Pack Show. Unfortunately it went downhill after him. He was a greater singer and the strongest of the 4. Next we had Marilyn - and she is a far far far cry from Marilyn (she seemed more like an Anna Nicole). I think the drag queens on Ocean do a much better Marilyn than this lady did (and they have better wigs!). In fact, I would love to see one of the drags in this show - it would be a welcomed spice because these 4 lacked chemistry - and it's hard to pull off "Rat Pack" without. It was also very distracting show for us because we sat at the last table in the back of the 1st floor - and there was a guy making large arm gestures directing the show over our table, and the 4 actors were looking over our shoulders at some other guy directing them for an entire song too - not the strongest performance although I appreciate that they do have staff wandering around in Bunny Ears and fedora hats. Sammy Davis took the stage after Marilyn and he was ok. I think he tried a Bing Crosby impersonation while also trying to impersonate Sammy - and his vocals/performance were much better as Crosby. It would have also been better if he pasted on a fake mustache (to look like Sammy) to at least TRY to impersonate this great man!!! Last was the sorriest sight I have ever seen for a Frank Sinatra impersonation - a Hispanic man with brown eyes, broken English and covered in white make-up took the stage to impersonate Sinatra. I mean, can they try to make an effort? Like some blue eye contacts for the legend known as "Blue Eyes"? He kept trying to tell jokes that NO ONE was laughing at - I think most of us were shocked that he was speaking with this thick thick accent while trying to impersonate a vocal God. I usually can't tell if a person has a British or another accent while singing - but this dude's came through even in song - really bad choice for Sinatra. Overall, maybe if you don't watch but just listen - you could enjoy a really nice meal and some great live music and vocals - especially for the price. They had an impressive live band for such a small intimate venue. The tables, chairs, and overall venue were nice. They validated our parking so the valet was only $4. They've really gone out of their way to make this a great value experience in a place that is normally not conscious of making such an effort. I think we would have enjoyed this most had it only been Dean signing all night. We went for Marilyn and Sinatra but preferred Dean - and we were also grateful that they mostly sang popular songs that we recognized and could enjoy! Despite the food issues, I would give this a 5 star without the Sinatra impersonator. They just don't really make an effort to impersonate these great stars (unless caking on white make-up is "trying"). I think I could have pretended through the 1st three impersonators, but the Sinatra impersonator was beyond a stretch of any imagination. Enjoy!!!!

This show is great, and the singers are pretty amazing! The band really seems like they are enjoying what they are doing. That in itself is very refreshing for Miami Beach acts. I went with a group of 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the show. The venue is hard to find, and there is no advertising in the building so you really need to look for it. I really hope that isn't the death of this show.
